This is Nauta. The city of Nauta is 8 hours up river from Iquitos by ferry and two hours by road. The town has one nice hotel and a very quaint fountain in the city center. The bus can be caught in Iquitos or on the road as you leave the Airport. You can rent a Boat in Nauta from Oscar Obando Vasquez for 80 usd per day. The nice thing is he will stay with you and you have the use of the boat while on the river. The boat will make a 24 hour trip by ferry to Santa Rita into a 3 hour boat ride.
